Jason’s Story | Elevate Your Life

Jason walks through his journey and all the adversity he faced in his life and how he overcame all of it. In this talk he offers students a few easy-to-grasp handles that will help them overcome whatever they face in life too, setting them up to walk into whatever life they want to have, so they can ultimately elevate their life.

Change Your Thinking Change Your Life

This talk takes the focus off of all the negative in students’ lives and places the attention on the “what can be”. Jason spends time talking through how important your thoughts are, how to manage your thoughts, and change your beliefs which leads students to have better “self-talk”. Where your mind goes your life follows. Learn to think about what you think about.

There’s Always Hope

So often when students experience a set back or walk through difficulty in their family and it becomes a reason to give up and become apathetic towards life. They can start to feel like this is all there is and it’s not getting any better, so they stop trying. Jason wants to help students see their full potential as they navigate the difficulty because so often the struggle is directly connected to the purpose. Without resistance there is no growth. Without the resistance of wind the eagle cannot soar, without resistance the athlete cannot train, so the resistance is no longer a reason to give up. It becomes instead a catalyst for hope.

Finding Your Purpose

One of the reasons students wander off into relationships, places, and things that keep them down is because they don’t know their purpose and they are trying to find it in all the wrong places. And at the core every student has experienced this or is experiencing this now. They need to know their life matters not just some day, but right now. The life they have been given is a gift. And what you stare at you steer toward so it matters what you spend your time, effort and energy focused on. The sun is a massive source of energy but we can all stand under it for hours with little effect. A laser on the other hand is a very small amount of energy, but because it’s focused energy, it can pierce even steel. Jason knows what that journey is like and can inspire your students to live focused on the right things and to walk in purpose, and never settle for less.
